Our collection includes a wide variety of gemstones such as diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, and more. You are welcome to explore our extensive gem library. If you have specific requirements and we do not have the gemstone you are looking for, we can source it based on your preferences for colour, cut, style, and budget. All our gemstones are certified by reputable gemological laboratories, guaranteeing their authenticity.

What is the process for designing a custom piece of jewellery?

The journey of creating a custom piece of jewellery with Calla Lily Fine Jewellers begins with an initial complimentary consultation where we discuss your ideas, preferences, and budget. We perform a style analysis and produce quick design sketches to ensure we capture your vision accurately. To proceed towards detailed drawings, a deposit of SGD 1,000 is required, which will be credited towards the final piece if no gemstones are purchased from us. Or you can purchase a gemstone from us worth SGD 500 or more.

As for the design process, we’ll present 2-3 style options and offer up to two drafts and revisions of the selected design. This style analysis is crucial to align the design with your expectations. If you choose not to proceed with the design, the deposit is retained as a design fee. Once the design is finalised, our skilled craftsmen will bring your unique piece to life. The entire process can take between 1 to 4 months depending on the complexity of the design. For more intricate pieces, it may take from 6 months to a year.

How long does it take to create a custom piece of jewellery?

The timeline for crafting a bespoke piece of jewellery varies based on the design's complexity and material availability.

If we need to source a specific gemstone, finding the perfect colour and shade might take some time, as we exclusively use natural gems.

Typically, the process takes between 4 to 8 weeks from the initial consultation to the piece's completion. However, depending on the intricacy of the design, the timeframe can extend from 1 to 4 months. For exceptionally detailed pieces, the creation process may range from 6 months to a year.

Can I use my own gemstones in a custom design?

Yes, you are welcome to use your own gemstones in a custom design. Our team will inspect the gemstones to ensure they are suitable for the intended design and provide recommendations on how best to incorporate them.

What are the price ranges for custom jewellery pieces?

The price of a custom piece varies based on factors such as the complexity of the design, choice of gemstones, type of metal, size, and weight of the piece. We work exclusively with 18k gold, platinum, and titanium. Custom pieces typically start from SGD 2,500 and above. We provide an estimated quote during the design consultation.

Do you provide design sketches before creating the final piece?

Yes, we provide design sketches drawn to scale before creating the final piece. This allows you to visualise the design and make any necessary adjustments. Ensuring your satisfaction with the design is our top priority.

How do you source your gemstones, and are they ethically sourced?

We are committed to ethically sourcing our gemstones. We collaborate with suppliers who follow responsible mining practices and ensure fair labour conditions. Our cutters play a vital role in this ethical chain by employing both tracking and tracing strategies. They interact directly with miners and brokers to gather first-hand information. When available, we obtain detailed reports on each stone’s origin and journey.
